Simply put, the liquid crystal panel is composed of two layers of thin glass substrates wrapped with a layer of liquid crystal molecules. In production, the glass substrate used has a fixed size and is cut to form liquid crystal panels of various sizes.


This involves a problem: how to cut the glass substrate will make the raw material utilization higher, and the final product has better economic benefits.


Therefore, according to the economic cutting size, the liquid crystal production line is also divided into different algebras.


The 5th generation line is mostly 9-15 inch mobile products.


The 5th generation line can cut up to 6 27-inch widescreen LCD-TV substrates, and the upper limit is a 27-inch widescreen TV.


The size of the sixth generation line that is best suited for cutting is 32 inches.


The seven-generation line substrate can cut eight 40-inch or 42-inch panels, six 46-inch or 47-inch panels.


The eighth generation panel line, the substrate can be cut into eight 46-inch, six 52-inch panels.


The 8.5-generation LCD panel production line is mainly economical to cut 32, 48, 49, 55-inch LCD TV panels.


More than ten generations of LCD panel lines can economically cut 60-70 inch LCD TV panels.


So the question is, how do these vulnerable panels be handled?

With China's large demand for LCD panels and substantial investment in related industries, LCD handling robots account for a large proportion of modern robots' Chinese operations. In the past two years in the construction of the 8.5-generation LCD factory project in China, modern robot products have exceeded 40% market share.


In the era of the Internet of Things, station signs, shop windows, etc. can be replaced by large LCD screens. Modern robotic LCD robots can make a big difference.
