Hon Hai Weizhou Factory is making rapid progress, and Chairman Guo Taiming announced in the White House last July that it has not been more than a year since he invested in Weizhou.

The ceremony was attended by Racine, Wisconsin, Mount Pleasant, Rasing City officials and Wisconsin-Gilbane Building Company, a construction company.

Adam Jelen, senior vice president of the Wisconsin-Gilbane Building Company, said that 90% of the workers in the initial construction were from Wisconsin.

However, Guo Dongte was not seen to assist Hu Guohui, and he issued a statement saying: "This is an important milestone and we are happy to advance the plan and fulfill our Weizhou priority commitment."

Hon Hai's Wisconsin Panel Plant's investment action has officially started at the end of 2017. The first batch of funds of 60 million US dollars was exported in mid-December last year. The first wave of peripheral projects for the plant construction case also started in January this year.

Guo Taiming recently announced that he will invest US $ 10 billion in the United States in the next four years. The first step is to build the world's most advanced liquid crystal display (LCD) panel factory in Wisconsin. In addition, Foxconn provided USD 60 million in December 2017 for land acquisition in Zones 2 and 3.

First phase of work

Jelen said that the first phase of the tender totaled about $ 100 million in contracts.

He explained that the first phase would include a massive excavation of about 4 million cubic yards of soil to control erosion and rainwater management in order to prepare the site for the next step in infrastructure. He said that amount of soil was equivalent to a 625-yard deep National Football League field.

"Early development site work will cost about 500,000 man-hours, reach 400 people, and create 800 direct and indirect jobs," he said, expecting the project to be extended until August 2019.

Jelen says construction plans will start later this year and next
