Xiaomi's first quarter revenue of 43.8 billion yuan, an increase of 27.2%

Xiaomi Group's first quarter revenue was 43.76 billion yuan, the market estimated 41.76 billion yuan, and the adjusted net profit in the first quarter was 2.08 billion yuan.


As of March 2019, MIUI monthly active users reached 260.9 million, an increase of 37.3%. The number of connected IoT devices (excluding smartphones and laptops) on the IoT platform increased by 70.0% year-on-year to approximately 171 million units. The artificial intelligence assistant Xiao Ai Si learned more than 45.5 million monthly active users in March 2019, an increase of 247.2%.


In the first quarter of 2019, the revenue of the smartphone segment was approximately RMB 27 billion, an increase of 16.2% year-on-year. Sales of smartphones reached 27.9 million units this season. According to Canalys, our smartphone shipments ranked fourth in the world in the first quarter of 2019.


In the first quarter of 2019, a number of smart phone products such as Xiaomi 9, Xiaomi 9SE, RedmiNote7 and RedmiNote7Pro and Redmi7 were released. The market for various products has been positive. Among them, RedmiNote7 was launched on January 10, 2019, and began to be sold in overseas markets on February 28, 2019. The demand is very strong. The RedmiNote7 series sold more than 4 million in the first quarter of 2019.


As of March 31, 2019, the supply of Xiaomi 9 series smartphones exceeded 1.5 million units. Soon after the beginning of April 2019, Xiaomi 9 series smartphones sold more than 1.5 million units.
