According to the data of Qunzhi Consulting's “Monthly Shipment Analysis Report of Global TV OEMs”, the shipments of 13 TV manufacturers in the world in July 2018 were 7.92 million units, an increase of 18.5% year-on-year and an increase of 8.2%. Driven by the arrival of overseas peak seasons, especially the arrival of the North American shipment season, most of the foundry manufacturers' shipments rebounded in July, driving the recovery of the overall OEM market.
Qunzhi Consulting predicts that the demand for OEM customers will increase significantly from August to September, but the performance of OEMs will be more differentiated: some manufacturers cannot add enough resources during the peak season because of the low level of inventory in the previous panel, and some manufacturers are also affected. Capital troubles require time to recover, and some manufacturers have difficulty completing orders. The advantages of the foundry manufacturers with the advantages of industrial chain integration during the peak season become more and more obvious.
