Although the overall sales were not satisfactory, the decline in panel prices has become the biggest advantage for domestic manufacturers, as the overall profit margin has become much larger than last year, and the performance has been greatly improved. At the same time, domestic color TV companies are also looking for a larger overseas market.
In the first half of this year, TCL sold 8.28 million LCD TVs overseas, far exceeding the 4.89 million units in China, and its overseas turnover increased by 45.3%. Chang Dong, chairman of Konka Group, said that the domestic color TV market is close to saturation. In the future, the bigger market is overseas. In the first half of the year, Konka’s overseas revenue growth has also reached 30% to 40%. He also revealed that Konka’s Overseas revenue will account for 60% of the total, Konka will continue to complete the supply chain layout around the world, the next step will be placed in North Africa.
Although the performance of the mid-term examination in the color TV market is quite satisfactory, the performance of the overseas market is also worth looking forward to, but it is still overcast. The sales boom brought by the World Cup has long since retired. The addition of Huawei and other mobile phone manufacturers will make the market competition more intense.
